A DIAGNOSIS CAN ALSO
BE AN AWAKENING.

What if breast cancer wasn’t just something that happened to you, but something that happened for you?

IT ASKS US TO LOOK DEEPER AT OUR BODIES, OUR BELIEFS, AND THE AREAS OF OUR LIVES IN NEED OF HEALING.

The Boob Project exists in that sacred space, and together, we’re rewriting what it means to heal.

Hi, I’m Jennifer

photographer, storyteller, AND FOUNDER & President of THE BOOB PROJECT.

The Boob Project began as a deeply personal path toward healing. But it has grown into celebrating women affected by breast cancer. Through photography, women are reclaiming their strength and stoy.

Together, we are more than survivors. We are a movement.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT
  • A woman with long hair standing sideways in front of a pink background, wearing a patterned top.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with body image—especially after losing my breasts.

But during The Boob Project photo shoot, Jennifer made me feel truly beautiful. When I saw my photos, I cried. For the first time, I saw my body differently—I saw a survivor. It awakened something in me, a realization of my own strength and courage. This project has reignited an overwhelming sense of gratitude, reminding me to appreciate my body, my life, and every blessing I have.

  • A woman dressed in religious attire, holding rosary beads near her face, with her hands in prayer, wearing a lace head covering.

This experience was truly remarkable in so many ways.

The photoshoot took place shortly after my doctor told me I was in remission, and having the words 'I am healed' inscribed on my body was profoundly empowering. Even more meaningful was having my daughters there with me—they were the reason I fought so hard every single day. Their presence made this moment a symbol of the strength and resilience we share as a family.

This experience will forever be etched in my heart as a testament to our journey and the love that carried us through. I hope my story inspires other women who need encouragement and strength in their own battles. ‘Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.' – Isaiah 41:10

  • A woman wearing a nurse's hat, smiling with blonde hair and blue eyes, with a pink overlay.

Every single day, I live with this scar—both physically and emotionally.

It serves as a constant reminder of how precious life is and how quickly everything can change. Through this photoshoot, I’ve come to see my scars not as something to hide, but as a powerful part of my story—one that I get to share with others. My greatest hope is that by sharing this experience, someone else will find the strength and courage to navigate this journey with hope and inspiration.

Stories of Strength

MEET APRIL

"This experience was deeply humbling and incredibly special. The Boob Project is more than just photographs—it’s a celebration of strength, survival, and the journey each woman has walked. Being part of this has given me a new perspective on my own story, reminding me to embrace my journey, even on the hard days.

When I saw my photos, I didn’t just see scars; I saw a survivor. A woman who has endured, grown, and come out stronger. These images serve as a powerful reminder of resilience and beauty, capturing not just what was lost, but what was gained.

Reaching my five-year cancer-free milestone was an emotional moment, and this experience felt like both an ending and a new beginning. The Boob Project isn’t just about looking back—it’s about moving forward. It’s about reclaiming who we are and stepping into the next chapter with confidence.

For any woman on this journey, know this: you are strong, you are seen, and your story is worth celebrating."
